CFI’s new WearCOAT® 720 and WearCOAT® 735 urethane concrete floor repair systems provide a durable, moisture-tolerant, sustainable solution for fixing or leveling cracked, damaged floors prior to applying resinous floor coating systems. They are truly next-gen products made for demanding environments like floors for labs, dispensaries, cold storerooms and freezers, kitchens and other food prep/processing areas.
Replacing the older technology found in CFI’s WearCOAT 705 and 710 products, WearCOAT 720 and 735 are formulated to be easier to apply, even on damp substrates. The resulting smooth, hygienic finish is incredibly durable, resisting shock from aggressive chemicals and steam cleaning.
Formulated using sustainable, plant-based technology, the two products are available in slurry (WearCOAT 720) and trowelable mortar (WearCOAT 735) products. They have been created to be far more moisture tolerant on damp surfaces than previous products to improve adhesion and durability on the concrete.
The new urethane concrete floor repair products are offered in natural, tile red, and silver-gray, with other colors available as options. One kit consists of A & B urethane components, colorant, and specially blended aggregate.
WearCOAT 720 can be applied with a squeegee or trowel, resulting floors that are highly resistant to wear and impact, and are well-suited to light and medium traffic. WearCOAT 735 is trowel-applied and creates floors that are extremely impact- and abrasion-resistant, standing up to heavy traffic and forklift operation. Both formulas are highly resistant to chemical and thermal-shock/steam for cleaning.
Once applied, the resulting floors are smooth and seamless, leaving no crevices that can harbor dirt and bacteria. These products are ideal for a variety of facilities, including food & beverage processing, wet preparation & packaging areas, commercial kitchens, solvent/chemical storage, battery charging areas, loading docks, manufacturing facilities and more.
